The products aremade of halogen-freeplastic, making them highly flame re-tardant. The combustion gasses producedin the event of a fire are neither corrosivenor toxic. The smoke density is low.Pipelife halogen-free electrical installationconduit is used particularly in locationswhere particular safety requirements applywith regard to fire damage. For instancein nuclear power plants, military facilitiesand civilian protection centres, hospitals,schools, airports, computer centres, etc.In the event of a fire, Pipelife halogen-free electrical installation conduit ensuresexcellent emergency operation characte-ristics due to its high resistance todeformation when exposed to heat. In ad-dition, a carbonisation process on theconduit surface guarantees only minimalflammability.The low smoke density andtoxicity are additional advantages in theevent of a fire.Valuable systems are not endangered bycorrosive gases.The testing and classification of Pipelifehalogen-free electrical installation conduitsis performed according to the criteriaalready established in other areas.In addition to the VDE 0605/4.82 testsalready used, this includes testing criteriasuch as:?
