Gambia – Village Hybrid System We carried out a feasibilitystudy for a village in Gambiathat consisted of 57 houses,19 community buildings, 4 offices, 1 night club anda cinema. The load assessment showed that the village’s daily electricity demand was on average191.624 kWh. Followingthe site’s resource assessmentwe designed the hybrid system that consisted of aSolar PV array which wasdesigned with a batterybackup and diesel generator to provide a reliable electricity supply.
