Feritech - Model FT0480 - Thermal Response Test (TRT) System - Datasheet

The FT0480 Thermal Response Test (TRT) system provides real-time measurement of thermal conductivity designed to integrate seamlessly with the FT0551 Vibrocorer. Data from multiple sensors spaced at 250 mm intervals along the probe are continuously collected and streamed to the Feritech Hub platform where thermal gradient and conductivity profiles are displayed live for immediate analysis. To achieve this, a heat pulse is administered, and the probe temperature is recorded at defined depths as it cools. TRT systems are used in many industries such as environmental impact, gas hydrate stability analysis, renewable power cable design, lithospheric research, and much more.
