Aids to navigation since 1954 • www.tidelandsignal.comFT4 - FT15 The Fiberglass tower (GRP) is of modular construction and is designed for ease of installation on a concrete foundation.• A colour impregnated gel coat with IALA recommended colours as required for the application.• Available in heights of 4m to 15m in 1m incraments.• Designed for the harsh marine environment, the tower offers excellent corrosion and weather resistance.• Stainless steel assembly bolts and sealant are provided for sealing the modules together to produce a weatherproof structure.• A lightning rod with 12mm² cable conductor, lightning spike and a terminating clamp are provided. The cable is 5m longer than the height of the tower to facilitate grounding 5m from the base of the exterior of the tower. • A tapered base module is available as standard on heights from 4 to 15m. • A service hatch provides access to the top platform which has a powder coated handrail with optional mounting kit for a solar system. • A 1m galvanized steel pedestal ensures the lantern is not obstructed by the handrail and carries the bracket for the lightening rod.
