halm – the story behind the name

Our company name is derived from the last names of our founders: H. Hellmann, H. Albert, A. Laux and A. Meixner. Four scientists who established the company in 1981 as an owner-run German technology company. Today the company is owned and run by brothers Moritz and Michael Meixner. Their strong affinity to Frankfurt ensures that R&D, sales and administration as well as in-house production will remain anchored in the Rhine-Main area in the future.
