Unit is constructed in strict accordance with ASTM Des-ignation D-409 and conforms to procedures proposed by ISO for the determi-nation of the Hardgrove Grindability index of coal and coke. Features ?? Stationary lower steel grinding bowl is mated with an upper grinding ring consisting of eight steel balls that rotate at 20 rpm. ?? Grinding ring is rotated by a motor/belt driven spindle to which 29 kg of removable weights are attached that bear onto the eight rotating balls. ?? A counter/switch assemble totals the number of revolutions and automatically stops the machine at the end of 60 revolutions. ?? Sample loading is remarkably easy because of the design of the machine. ??
