For more than 40 years, we have been developing, producing and selling our (central-heating) boilers according to the five principles of our HDG corporate philosophy – because what HDG makes should have long-term value and durability. This applies not only to the products, but also to loyal employees, to research and development, and to fair cooperation with all partners.

From a family business
to a modern family company

The company`s founder Karl Ackermann already knew how to manufacture heating systems that were popular due to their high quality and robustness. As a modern family company, we still rely on the values and ideals of the family business from which we are descended.

This is the basis for HDG`s success – then and now.

Competence leader and initiator

Robustness, convenient operation, reliability and the integration of new technologies characterise all HDG products. That is our performance promise. For this reason, we have been driving the development of wood heating systems since the early days, always orienting ourselves to the needs of the market and customers.

Furthermore, research and development at HDG also means daring to look beyond the end of one`s nose – be it testing alternative biogenic fuels apart from wood or also the continuous optimisation of efficiency through innovative approaches in boiler technology.

As a partner of numerous institutes, we rely on cooperation and a lived exchange of experience and ideas, because we are convinced: The turnaround from fossil fuels to a truly sustainable heat supply can only succeed if we work together.
