Hydro 2016 Brochure

With 33 hydro and pumped-storage schemes under construction (new and major upgrade projects), which will provide more than 2100 MW of capacity, Switzerland is one of Europe`s most active countries for hydropower at present. The beautiful town of Montreux, overlooking Lake Geneva, will provide a perfect setting for the world hydro community to meet next year, to discuss topical aspects of global hydropower development.
