Back in 2000 as an avid boat enthusiast, I ran into some diesel fuel maintenance problems. I shopped around and realized there wasn’t the right solution out there for what I needed. Using my aviation background, I developed my own filter design that allowed me to service the filter, have backup pressure and send me alerts before things broke. I realized quickly that other diesel engine owners shared the same pains and lulls that I did.

The mission has always been the same; to give diesel engine owners like me the confidence that the fuel system is working properly, the peace of mind knowing that when a problem appears you have the right equipment for the job and not having to worry about surprises.

The evolution of the FilterBOSS

In 2014 KTI moved their operations into a modern manufacturing facility in Southwick, MA.
In 2017 KTI Systems, Inc. launched its new Complete Diesel Fuel Management System to attendees at the Annapolis Boat, Engine Expo and POWER-GEN shows who wanted clean fuel and peace of mind. For the first time, the new units are using KTI System’s own filters and were introduced as KEENAN FILTERS, by KTI Systems, Inc.
