The unit is furnished with a standard indicating dyedsilica gel, which gradually changes from blue (at relativehumidities less than 4%) to pink (at relative humidities higherthan 40%). At this point the silica gel has absorbed the maximumamount of water. It is easily removed and replaced with theindicator body still in the line. The silica gel can be regeneratedby flushing the indicator with a dry gas or by heating theindicating element in an oven at 150ºC for 2 to 3 hours. Bothconnections are 1/4" NPT (female x male).
