AROS has always paid a high level of attention to the impact of its activities on the environment and therefore has obtained ISO 14001 certification, implementing all the pollution-reduction and resource-control procedures. This means managing waste in compliance with applicable laws, avoiding wastage of materials and energy, requiring the same procedure from suppliers. AROS has also complied with the guidelines set by the European Union relating to the management and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and the prohibition of use of hazardous substances on products marketed (RoHS).

In developing new products, AROS personnel devotes extensive resources to evaluating the impact they have on the environment. Printed circuit boards, wiring, adhesives, connectors and other components are free of toxic substances such as CFCs, HCFCs, lead, mercury, brominated flame retardants (BFRs) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). We also work to minimise the impact that our packaging has on the environment, reducing its dimensions and, consequently, the impact on the energy required for the transportation and storage of products, all using fully recyclable materials. This is a sign that, for AROS, the quality of the environment is not based on the commercial need to adorn itself with a mark or a certificate, but from the conviction that these are values on which a business whose objective is the future should be based.
