Solutions for the PV-Solar Industry Semi-automatic repair table (SRU-U1) The SRU-U1 is a semi-automatic repair table, used for the repairing of strings with solar cells. By the use of the repair table, there is no need for manual handling of the strings. The repair table is provided with four trays, two for the broken strings an two for the repaired ones. Broken strings are picked from one of the trays by the use of a servo driven XZ system. The strings will be picked by the use of vacuum pickers, the pickers are designed in a way that they will not damage the cells. A rotation arm is provided to turn the string around. After the string is repaired, they will be placed in a tray for repaired strings. The repair table is provided with a operator friendly touch screen and a network connection. Therefore the repair table can be integrated in the network, this makes it possible to read out the data of the strings on the screen. On the operator side, the repair table is provided with a safety light curtain. If this curtain is interrupted all movements will be stopped. On both sides the table is provided with a workplace with draws. All cells and the necessary repair equipment can be placed in these draws. To create the best ergonomic workplace, the height of the repair table is manually adjustable (electrical as an option).
