Its location offers easy access from the railway station (at 100 m.), the Port passenger terminal (at 200 m.) and the Rambla Nova (at 100 m), the main trade centre of the city. Moreover, the venue is close to the diverse hotels of the city. By Plane The Reus airport is located just 7 kilometres outside of Tarragona. The airline Iberia runs regular shuttle flights to Madrid, offering daily morning and evening services. The low-cost company Ryanair offers affordable flights to Dublin, London and Frankfurt. Reus Transport offers a transportation service by bus to the Reus airport. The Barcelona airport is just 81 km away from Tarragona and offers all types of flights daily: national, international and transoceanic connections. It can be reached by taking the C-32/AP-7 motorway, by train (line 10), changing at the Barcelona Sants station, or by bus through the coach company Alsa (www.alsa.es phone +34 902 42 22 42) directly from Barcelona Airport to Tarragona. By Train The train station is located between the sea and the city centre. Regular local trains run from Tarragona to Barcelona, Tortosa, Reus and Lleida. Tarragona has a new AVE fast speed train service which is direct from Madrid to Tarragona. The journey takes 2hr. 55min. By Car The city is connected by the AP-7 motorway and N-340 carriageway to Barcelona, Tortosa and Valencia. It is also possible to drive to Lleida, Saragossa and Madrid, taking the N-240 and picking up the AP-2 motorway at Montblanc. The N-420 carriageway goes to Reus and Terol. The city is connected to the other towns in the province by a comprehensive network of local and regional roads. Before departing, drivers can also obtain traffic reports. By Bus Tarragona has a modern bus station with buses to most towns in the region.
