24th BIOGAS Conference and Trade Fair 2015
The 24rd BIOGAS annual conference with the world’s biggest trade fair for biogas takes place in Bremen from 27-29 January 2015 and welcomes specialists and others interested in renewable energy through biogas. Manufacturers of biogas plants and plant components show their broad product spectrum, which in times of the energy turnaround is devoted to the German Renewable Energy Act and the production and provision of green power through biomass and energy crops. Service providers, scientists, plant operators and plant manufacturers meet here to discuss the latest market trends and technologies.
A joint Effort
The BIOGAS Annual Conference and Trade Fair is a joint project of the Fachverband Biogas e.V. (German Biogas Association) as organizer in cooperation with NürnbergMesse, which is responsible for the organization on the ground.
Focus on renewable Energy through Biogas
Market growth in the past years demands innovative technologies if renewable raw materials, energy crops and slurry are to be used for the production of biogas in an efficient and ecologically sensible way.
The product spectrum at the BIOGAS Annual Conference and Trade Fair shows the complete process chain in compact form in one place. The event presents state-of-the-art biogas plants, gas accumulators and fermenters, plants and equipment for substrate processing, and agricultural machinery, plus equipment for separating, metering, weighing, stirring, pumping, fermentation product processing, gas analysis and harvesting.
Operators and manufacturers of biogas plants, farmers, experts on planning biogas plants as well as representatives from science and research meet here every year to discuss the latest trends in the market for biogas plants. to the Product Spectrum
Success Story
The small but smart group of pioneers in the practical use of biogas plants met for the first time in 1991. After founding the German Biogas Association in 1992, the association conference was established as a permanent annual event. The 100 participants in 1993 increased to more than 1,000 at the anniversary event 20 years later in 2011.
The accompanying trade fair also rapidly developed into a success story. 406 exhibitors and more than 8.000 visitors in 2014 prove the importance of the BIOGAS Annual Conference and Trade Fair as leading event for biogas plants. Last year’s figures for Leipzig whet the appetite for 2014 in Nuremberg:
- 95 % of the exhibitors reached their most important target groups.
- 90 % of the exhibitors made new business connections.
- 96 % of the exhibitors were satisfied with the quality of the visitors to the stand.
- 99 % of the visitors were satisfied with the opportunities for obtaining information and establishing contact.
