Message from the Technical Programme Chair
Dear Member of the Global PV Community,
On behalf of the EU PVSEC Scientific Committee, I warmly invite you to submit an abstract with your latest research results to the 32nd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition. The 2016 programme continues the successful format from previous years EU PVSEC provides a unique platform to present new R&D results and analysis, while also encouraging active participation of industry experts, analysts, media and policy makers. Indeed we`re proud that that the 2015 event was again the world`s largest PV research event with 2538 participants from 79 countries.
The technical programme layout is basically unchanged, but we`ve used the feedback from the Scientific Committee and the International Scientific Advisory Committee to improve focus. For example, Topic 4 is now titled concentrator and space systems, and includes III-V cells and devices relevant to both terrestrial and space applications. In Topic 5 we`ve created a sub-topic on solar resource and forecasting, reflecting the high interest in this specific area. There`s also now a sub-topic 6.3 on utility-scale PV systems.
Finally a word on quality, access and impact: each abstract will be scored by three independent reviewers, before the topic organisers select the oral and visual presentations. The proceedings are fully accessible (also to all the major search engines) via the conference website, and each paper is assigned a DOI to guarantee an unequivocal and permanent identification and citability.
