AD & Biogas Industry Awards Gala Dinner - 2025
We are delighted to announce that the host of the 2025 AD & Biogas Industry Awards and Gala Dinner will be Rory Bremner – the multitalented impressionist, comedian, satirist, writer and ballroom dancer! Rory is perhaps best known for writing and starring in the political satire show Bremner, Bird and Fortune, a mainstay of Channel 4’s comedy output for nearly 20 years. He has won two BAFTAs, three Royal Television Society and two British Comedy Awards throughout his distinguished career. He regularly appears on TV and Radio, as a performer and a presenter, with credits including Spitting Image, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You and Strictly Come Dancing. He also holds the honour of having appeared on both Wogan and Parkinson more often than any other guest. We look forward to welcoming Rory into the AD and Biogas communities, and we are immensely proud that he will host our flagship event in 2025.
The AD and Biogas Industry Awards and Gala Dinner, hosted by ADBA and WBA, recognises and celebrates achievements across the full spectrum of the anaerobic digestion (AD) and biogas industry. The awards bring together the key players in the market, including AD operators, developers, energy suppliers, researchers, engineers, technology suppliers and more. ADBA is the UK Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association and WBA is the World Biogas Association. The Awards Ceremony takes place during week of the World Biogas Expo (also organised by ADBA and WBA). This year the Ceremony is at the National Conference Centre (NCC Birmingham), United Kingdom — about a 5-minute drive from the World Biogas Expo’s venue (National Exhibition Centre, NEC Birmingham).
The gala dinner is an opportunity for the industry to come together, network, celebrate and have fun! Whether you’re entertaining clients or want to celebrate with your team or peers and friends within the industry, it’s the standout year on the AD and Biogas calendar where the leading lights of the industry will gather for a great evening of food, drink, entertainment – and the awards, of course.
