AHR Expo 2016
The International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) evolved out of the Power and Mechanical Engineering Exposition which was launched in 1920 by IEC, and featured power generation equipment, as well as heating and ventilating products. In the late 1920`s, the Power Show featured more and more heating and ventilating products which inspired IEC to create the International Heating and Ventilating Show in 1930. Since then, the Expostition has been presented in key markets throughout the U.S. With approximately 62,000 attendees from more than 140 countries, over 11 acres of exhibits, and 41 sponsoring and endorsing associations - the 2015 AHR Expo in Chicago was one for the record books. We would like to thank the contractors, engineers, distributors, facility managers, manufacturers, and everyone else that came together to make this year`s event the largest AHR Expo ever.

There are many educational options at the AHR Expo. The ASHRAE Learning Institute offers full-day and half-day for-credit courses. In addition, there are many shorter classes provided by a wide variety of industry Associations. Finally, exhibiting companies will be making short presentations of their latest products in the New Product and Technology Theater.
The Building Automation & Control Showcase
This is a special area on the Show floor designated for the following products and services: Building Automation, Energy & Facility Management Systems; Climate Controls; Monitoring Systems; Wireless and Cloud-based Options; and other Networked Building Systems including Lighting, Security, Fire Alarms, and more.
The Software Center
This is a special area on the Show floor designated for HVACR related software, both off-the-shelf and customized solutions, for the following: Project & Field Service Management including Estimating, Inventory Control, GPS Tracking; Systems Design, Specification & Analysis; Remote-based and Cloud-based Software; and more.
New Product & Technology Theater
