Battelle International Bioremediation Symposium

The International Symposium on Bioremediation and Sustainable Environmental Technologies incorporates topics beyond those addressed by its predecessor, the In Situ and On-Site Bioremediation Symposium. Bioremediation and related technologies continue as core areas, but the program also encompasses green and sustainable remediation, sustainable site management strategies, emerging contaminants, vapor intrusion, and the environmental impacts of biology-based alternative energy production. The program is designed for scientists, engineers, regulators, site managers, and other environmental professionals, representing universities, government agencies, consultants, and R&D and service firms from around the world. University students are encouraged to attend the Symposium, and a networking lunch and job center are being provided to further their career development. Sponsors are leading organizations active in site investigation and remediation.
