Energy Decentral 2014

SHARE

BioEnergy Decentral will become “EnergyDecentral: We are opening up the programme spectrum of the fair further and setting additional priority areas. EnergyDecentral will be held in Hanover from 11 to 14 November 2014.

Visitors to Energy Decentral  2014 can expect an interesting and wide-ranging technical programme on the subject of “Decentralized Energy Supply”.

  • Energy production: including biogas and biomethane production, windpower generators, photovoltaics and solar energy, as well as production using solid fuels such as wood and pellets and many facets of energy production in line with needs.
  • Energy transmission, energy and load management, energy trade:including Smart Grids, virtual power stations
  • Energy use: including efficient heat and power co-generation, municipal use of bioenergy, sales of biomethane, district heating grids, micro gas grids

The technical programme at Energy Decentral  rests on the following pillars:

  • Two Forums point up possible solutions to topical questions and provide well-founded information about concepts, trends, related technology and know-how
    • The Forum “Decentralized Energy Supply” will include many panel discussions and lectures on questions such as decentralized energy supply, and in particular on energy and load management, energy trade, municipal use of bioenergy, and cooperation arrangements between farmers and forest managers on the one hand and municipal utilities on the other.
    • In a series of lectures and technical events the Forum “Bioenergy – Technology & Service” will present solutions e.g. for energy production systems and installations, and all related questions of efficiency improvement, performance boosting, service and maintenance.

  • Specials(shows within the show) will address topical themes of decentralized energy supply with practice-driven demonstrations and explanations:
  • Special theme days
    • Public Utilities Day: together with the Association of Local Utilities (VKU) and VDMA, contributions of special interest to public utilities will be provided.
    • Municipalities Day: on this day there will be a technical programme geared specifically to the information needs of mayors, municipal energy officers and other local authority-based decision makers.

  • DLG “Renewable Energies” Center: for neutral and individual discussions about questions concerning bioenergy and decentralized energy supply with a variety of experts, e.g. from the DLG Test Center Technology and Farm Inputs, and the Competence Center Agriculture.
