We have had a tremendous response from the industry and everyone is excited to Go Big in Dallas. While the exhibit hall is filling up fast there are still several spaces available, primarily in Hall B, which is located close to the entrance from the session rooms.

For the 2014 event, attendees indicated the following as the value of equipment they recommended, specified or purchase annually.

  • Exhibits are located in Dallas, Texas at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Halls B-F.
  • Exhibit Hall Access:
    • Registration opens in Lobby F on Sunday at 12 noon (beat the rush). At this time you will be able to pick up badges and/or badge holders.
    • Wristbands available for set-up staff & EACs at the Lobby D entrance Thursday – Sunday.
  • T&D Show Office is located in D222, this is located between the D & E hall entrances. The office will be open from 8 am – 5 pm, Friday, April 29 – Thursday, May 5, please call (703) 662-3602 for assistance. Secure overnight storage is offered in this room for exhibitors wishing to secure small items such as laptops, etc. You may bring your items to the office at 5 pm each night.
  • Floor Managers are available in the exhibit hall to assist you throughout the show.  IEEE PES Exhibit Staff can be reached at (703) 662-3602.
  • The First Aid Station is located in the back of Hall E, near dock door 8 and in Lower Lobby C, next to C150. They will be open move-in through move-out.
  • Security office is located in the back of Hall E near dock door 8.
  • Show Schedule Information (Full schedule available online)
    • Target Move-in begins on Thursday, April 28 and continues through Friday, April 29.  All exhibitors including linear booths (10×10, 10×20, etc.) can move-in Saturday, April 30 through Monday, May 2.  All booths must be set by 4 pm on Monday.
    • All exhibitors are invited to attend the Conference Opening Reception Monday evening at AT&T Stadium. Shuttle buses will depart from the conference hotels beginning at 6:00pm.  Get your booth set-up and join us, but don’tforget your badge.
  • Shuttles: Service is provided to and from the convention center and official show hotels only.  Service will begin on Monday, May 2 at 6:30 am.  Complete schedule information and locations of the stops will be posted in the Lower A/B & D Lobbies in the convention center, hotel lobbies and the Final Program.

  • POV Access  – Privately Owned Vehicles (POV’s) will be directed upon arrival to the designated POV check-in area.  Full instructions online.
  • The next IEEE PES T&D Show will be in Denver, April 16-19, 2018.  Space Selection will be this fall and information will be sent to all exhibiting companies prior to exhibit sales opening. No reservations for booth space will be made onsite.

Below is a brief list of a few of the show rules and regulations for exhibitor booths, click here for full rules.  For additional information or to order services please refer to the online exhibitor manual.

  • No display material of any kind, including, but not limited to, signs, banners or logos may be suspended from the ceiling.  No balloons or blimps may be suspended or tethered.
  • All floor space in your booth must be carpeted.  Show Management will authorize the official contractor to carpet, at the exhibitor’s expense, any booth space not covered by 4 p.m., Monday, May 2.
  • Exhibit displays must not exceed the following height restrictions
    1. Linear booths are not permitted to be over 8’ tall in the back half of their booth
    2. Linear booths are not permitted to be over 4’ tall in the front half of their booth, allowing for line of sight to neighboring exhibitors.
    3. Island booths are not permitted to be over 20’ tall and if over 30’ wide must allow for 10’ openings for every 20’ of display structure.
