ECOMONDO, the leading trade fair about the environment and sustainable development, confirms its ability to innovate and focus on the hottest topics, proposing a new specialist expo: KEY ENERGY

Key Energy springs from the growing interest of industry and trade members in renewable energies, energy saving and efficiency, sustainable mobility, hydrogen and the energy market, and from the need to develop and deepen these imperative issues in depth during discussions on the reduction of C02 emissions, the primary reason for global warming.

In fact, the 2006 edition was attended by a record-breaking number of visitors: 52,595 certified trade visitors (16.5% more than 2005) from 61 countries, among whom the number of industry members interested in the sectors energy and sustainable mobility was triple compared to 2005.
These figures, with 960 exhibitors, 211 seminars, company workshops, meetings and events, confirm the growth and innovation of this trade fair, the only one in Italy able to attract the attention of all the key players involved in environmental sustainability issues.

• Conferences and Seminars: in-depth coverage of photovoltaic, solar thermal, biomass and wind based energy, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility and emission trading
• Sustainable homes: innovative formulae for designing homes with ecological criteria in the choice of technologies and materials, to improve comfort and reduce consumption
• Agri-energy Chain: demo area on concrete solutions for transforming biomass and biofuels and their use
• Sustainable mobility: Rimini-San Marino-Rimini `Electro Rally` with award ceremony; in the local area, other events certain to attract crowds will be organized, with performances and prizes
• Renewable Energy: project with international expo area and business meetings, promoted by the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad
