Peak Power Briefing

A tight power supply situation is forecast for this summer in Victoria and SA, with short falls in the reserve safety margin of up to 500MW being forecast. Peak Demand is growing rapidly throughout the NEM. The whole NEM will be in need of additional capacity before the decade is over. This briefing will update EUAA members, energy users and other interested parties on the emerging power capacity situation in the NEM over this summer and beyond.
