WasteTech-2013

Over the last decade WasteTech (an abbreviation of two English words "waste" and "tech" - technology) has become well-known to everyone engaged in waste treatment, environmental protection and renewable energy both in Russia and worldwide, especially in CIS and Baltic countries.

The first WasteTech exhibition and congress was held in Moscow in September 1999 and the previous WasteTech - May-June 2011. While WasteTech-99 exhibition space did not exceed 340 sq.m with 40 exhibitors WasteTech-2011 attaracted 309 companies from 23 countries and reached 5980 sq. m net of indoor and outdoor space.

At the very beginning WasteTech was focused exclusively on solid waste issues. But now in addition to these, air and water protection, sanitation and soil remediation, renewable energy etc are also on event agenda.

As a result, WasteTech exhibition and conference has become the main forum for waste management, recycling, renewable energy and environmental technologies in Russia and CIS.

An extensive and interesting conference program is a traditional "feature" of WasteTech. It is a chain of conferences, seminars and round tables on various aspects of waste management and environmental technologies. Events are prepared in cooperation with international and local associations, research and design institutions, or held on the initiative of individual companies - exhibitors.

WasteTech is composed of two separate specialized expositions (brands): ScrapExpo - ferrous and non-ferrous metal scrap recycling; REnergo - renewable energy and will take place in parallel with the annual exhibition and conference CityPipe "Piping Systems for Municipal Infrastructure: Construction, Diagnostics, Repair and Operation".

The next edition of Wastetech will take place in IEC "Crocus Expo" in Moscow 28-31 May 2013.
