Another incinerator unit bound for Africa
Demand continues to grow for Matthews’ waste incineration process plant
Although Matthews’ waste incinerators are being exported to a growing number of destinations around the world, one of our strongest markets remains the East Africa countries that are serviced by Plenser Limited, our long-established agents in Kenya. Right now in our workshops we are putting the finishing touches to the latest waste incinerator order placed by the company and following extensive tests, proving trials and certification it will soon be ready to be freighted overseas.
Plenser, based in Nairobi, has been our trusted main agent throughout Kenya and a number of neighbouring nations for over ten years. Throughout that time we have developed a close working relationship plus a valuable technical understanding. Plenser’s outstanding knowledge of our waste incineration process, plus their own impeccable engineering expertise means that they are able to liaise closely with their own customers in order to confirm the precise waste incineration process that is best suited to satisfy each individual requirement.
Our in-house technical designers also work closely with Plenser’s own engineers and together both teams are then able to develop the most appropriate solution and recommend the ideal plant specifications.
The latest waste incineration process plant is a bespoke 150kg per hour waste disposal incinerator from our waste incinerators range that is designed to handle a wide range of waste material. In addition to the high volume waste disposal efficiency we have also incorporated a 2-second residence secondary chamber that will rapidly and effectively reduce the waste emissions of any potentially harmful combustion by-products – such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds to an absolute minimum.
By incorporating this additional environmental safeguard into the waste incineration process specifications it ensures clean emissions. Although not every African country demands this high level of environmental protection, it is welcoming to recognise that more and more companies are now insisting on these standards. Plenser, we are pleased to confirm, has been a leading campaigner throughout the whole of the region in the push to improve ecological standards of the waste incineration process.
Working together, Matthews Environmental Solutions and Plenser Limited have developed a strong and successful partnership. We are working to expand our international agency network and would welcome enquiries from qualified and experienced companies in all other parts of the world.
