Axis Technologies has begun a project in Norway, Lillehammer
Axis Technologies, a member company of the Axis Industries Group, has taken a new step into the Scandinavian market. The Lithuanians will supply and install a gas condensation economizer for the water heating boiler plant in Lillehammer. Axis Technologies signed an agreement with the Eidsiva Bioenergi AS Company, which provides centralized heating to Lillehammer.
“Exporting products and services to Scandinavia is one of our main goals. We are already implementing energy projects in Sweden and won a tender in Norway, which was our first foot through the door in the Country. As always, we presented the Client with tailor-made technical solution,” said Axis Technologies CEO Giedrius Vaitkevičius.
The offer presented by Axis Technologies, which competed in the tender against Scandinavian Companies, was considered the best when taking into account technical concept, experience with the implementation of similar projects and equipment manufacturing, delivery and installation terms.
The Lithuanians will install the condensation economizer this year. This improvement will allow the Eidsiva Bioenergi AS Company to reach some 20-25% heat recovery thus correspondingly reduce biofuel consumption and positively contribute to the reduction of the greenhouse gas emissions.
Eidsiva Bioenergi AS is the third-largest energy production company in Norway that also provides centralized heating. The Company produces about 400 GWh of heat energy a year. Eidsiva Bioenergi AS belongs to Eidsiva Group, which has 1,000 employees.
Axis Technologies has been operating in the Scandinavian market since 2015. The company is currently completing its latest project in Sweden – the construction of an 8 MW biofuel boiler plant on the turnkey supply basis for the Sävsjö Energi energy company in Sävsjö. Services comprised of plant engineering, main equipment manufacturing, installation, start-up and commissioning.
In 2016, Axis Technologies provided a furnace, boiler and flue gas cleaning device for Hilmer Andersson, a Swedish wood processing Company who was in the process of retrofit of its biofuel boiler plant. Axis Technologies in Sweden successfully completed flue gas condensation economizer project for the biofuel boiler plant in the City of Gislaved.
Axis Technologies is part of the Axis Industries Group of Companies that designs and manufactures technological equipment for biofuel fired boiler plants and power plants and builds complex industrial objects. The company has implemented more than 200 biofuel projects in the Baltic States and other Countries. The Company provides comprehensive services: it performs technical expert services, engineering, manufacturing, installation, start-up and commissioning of biofuel fired boiler plants and power plants, and provides automation and technical maintenance services.
