
Eaton Demonstrates Power Management Solutions for Enhanced Efficiency, Reliability at 2015 GLOBALCON Conference in Philadelphia
Power management company Eaton announced today that its engineering services, lighting and metering equipment will be on display March 17 and 18 at the 2015 GLOBALCON conference in Philadelphia. Additionally, Eaton will present two educational seminars focusing on energy surety during the conference. The Honorable William C. (Bill) Anderson, director, strategy and business development at Eaton, will deliver a presentation focusing on microgrids, and Jim Dankowksi, government sector director for Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems Division, will discuss the challenges of providing continuous power.

At 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, Jim Dankowski will deliver a presentation titled, “Distributed Generation and Energy Management – the Cornerstones of Energy Surety.” The presentation will highlight lessons learned from a recent project for the U.S. Army and a smart grid demonstration project conducted for a utility customer.
Bill Anderson, director, strategy and business development for Eaton’s government services, will also speak at the event. His presentation on Wednesday, at 2:30 p.m. on March 18 will focus on “How Microgrids are Changing the Energy Landscape.” This session highlights how distributed microgrids can support energy surety and system resiliency.
