Eaton Showcasing Solutions for Reliable, Efficient and Safe Healthcare at 2015 ASHE PDC Summit in Booth #564 from March 15-18
Power management company Eaton today announced it is delivering a portfolio of solutions to reliably and safely power health care applications at the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) 2015 Summit and Exhibition on Health Facility Planning, Design and Construction (PDC). Eaton’s products and services are designed to help medical facilities modernize aging infrastructures, reduce the risk of contamination, protect critical equipment and avoid downtime. A selection of these solutions – including the new ATC-900 automatic transfer switch controller – will be on display in booth #564, from March 15-18 in San Antonio, Texas.
“Because everything a healthcare organization does can be considered mission critical, contributing to always-on power for essential electrical systems is important across the entire enterprise,” said Justin Carron, segment manager at Eaton. “At the 2015 ASHE PDC summit, we look forward to showcasing our solutions that help healthcare facilities to use power more efficiently and safely, while enhancing comfort for patients, visitors and staff.”
At the booth, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with Eaton’s healthcare application experts and multiple solutions, including: automatic transfer switches; wiring devices featuring CuVerro® antimicrobial copper surfaces; hospital grade universal serial bus (USB) charging and straight blade receptacles; and highly efficient light-emitting diode (LED) lighting solutions. Eaton will also feature the new ATC-900 automatic transfer switch controller for mission critical applications. Combining intuitive diagnostic, monitoring and control capabilities in a compact package, the ATC-900 controller enhances communication between normal and backup power sources to ease management and increase power supply reliability.
Intelligent control architecture allows the ATC-900 to meet a vast range of backup power system requirements. The controller also provides flexibility for system expansion with add-on modules that can reduce the need for investment in new controllers.
The controller is available in one standard model that offers a variety of monitoring and control features including selective and automatic load shedding, remote load testing and event logging. Further, the ATC-900 is designed with enhanced diagnostics that help reduce the risk of unplanned downtime, with features including specific alarm indication, real-time data tracking and storage of up to 450 events.
