Final Report, Factsheet Now Available for ISO-NE Study of Clean Energy Transition
A final report and factsheet for ISO New England’s Economic Planning for the Clean Energy Transition (EPCET) study—the latest in a series of ISO initiatives examining the future grid—are now available online.
The ISO issued a draft report on the study in August, and the final version incorporates additional stakeholder feedback. The factsheet summarizes the findings in a two-page format.
EPCET grew out of an effort by ISO New England, market participants, and state entities (including the New England States Committee on Electricity) to assess the future of the regional power system in light of state energy and environmental laws.
Launched in 2022, the study identifies trends and challenges likely to materialize during the region’s clean energy transition.
