On March 31, 2019,  Movelaser Ground lidar Molas B300 was installed in Korea. This project serves a new energy company in Korea and is used for wind measurement service for annual power generation hours verification of wind turbines. This is the first time that Movelaser has entered the Korean wind measurement market.

The project uses Siemens generator sets with a hub height of 127 meters. The 80-meter wind tower installed at this point can`t directly measure the real data. The wind speed above 80 meters needs to be calculated by simulation. This will lead to uncertainty such as deviation, which will cause the annual power generation hours of the wind turbine to fall short of the expected target.
The Molas B300 measures wind speed and wind direction above the lidar at 40-300 meters, and the height of the measurement layer is 12ยท. It gives full play to the advantages of lidar wind measurement and provides more accurate and reliable data basis for the project.

The Molas B300 is installed on the hill of Jeongseon-gun, Korea. The terrain is complex and the installation space is small. The after-sales engineers have installed without cutting down a tree, which shows that the Molas B300 is portable, easy to install and simple to operate. The project has only took five days from China`s customs declaration to installation and use. It met the needs of customers quickly and efficiently. We were recognized and appreciated by the new energy company in Korea.
