GTI Gearing Up for International Projects

Geomembrane Technologies Inc. (GTI) is excited to begin work on several international biogas projects in Brazil, Australia and Indonesia over the next few months.

Three projects will keep GTI crews working hard in Brazil.  Liners, piping systems and biogas collection covers are to be installed for three food processors.  The biogas collection covers will reliably capture biogas produced during the anaerobic treatment of the plant’s wastewater. The biogas will be used in a boilers, which will offer the client fuel savings.

GTI will commence work at a large cheese manufacturing facility in Tasmania soon. The project involves the design and installation of a gas collection cover, as well as internal piping supply for an above ground tank anaerobic reactor and a sequencing batch reactor.

The team at GTI will also be travelling to a palm oil plantation in Indonesia to install a gas collection cover over an anaerobic lagoon.  The cover will collect biogas, reduce odors, and prevent greenhouse gases (GHG) from being released into the environment.
