David Renné is the President of the International Solar Energy Society since 2010 and Associate Editor of the Solar Energy Journal in the field of solar resource assessment. Dr. Renné is also the Operating Agent of International Energy Agency Solar Heating and Cooling Programme Task 46 titled, “Solar Resource Assessment and Forecasting.”

Stefan Gsänger is the Secretary General of the World Wind Energy Association. Under his direction, WWEA has become the voice of the wind sector worldwide, with members in more than 100 countries. WWEA attained Special Consultative Status at the UN.

Marietta Sander is the Executive Director of the International Geothermal Association. In her function for the IGA, Marietta Sander manages the IGA headquarters, provides technical expertise on geothermal energy and networking opportunities to practitioners, international organisations, civil society and others.

Heinz Kopetz is the president of the World Bioenergy Association since 2012. From 1997 to 2000, he was a member of the advisory committee for Energy of the European Commission, Brussels. From 2005 to 2010, he was a Chairman of the European Biomass Association (AEBIOM), Brussels.

Tracy Lane leads the International Hydropower Association initiatives related to building and sharing knowledge in the areas of energy systems, climate change, risk and finance, regional cooperation and water resources management.

Achieving the goal of a world supplied by 100% renewable energy will require a clear understanding of how different renewable energy technologies can work together to provide reliable energy systems. This webinar brings together five renewable energy technology organisations, representing solar, wind, geothermal, hydro, and bioenergy, to provide case studies and best practices of cities, regions, and countries where various high-penetration combinations of renewable energy technologies are working together.
