Selas Fluid Wins Contract for Catalyst Recovery System

Selas Fluid Processing has won a contract for a catalyst recovery system as part of a new acetyls plant in Saudi Arabia which will manufacture acetic acid and vinyl acetate monomer, a high-end specialty plastic.
According to Gene Irrgang, Product Manager for Oxidation Technologies at Selas Fluid, the system will consist of a reactor, heat exchanger, and burner system.
Selas Fluid Processing Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Linde AG of Germany, is internationally recognized for its innovative and comprehensive combustion and emission control systems. Selas Fluid, together with its major brands, T-Thermal and Thermatrix, is located in Blue Bell, PA USA.
