German solar technology company Solar Fabrik GmbH announced plans to supply photovoltaic (PV) modules for two new solar parks in Germany totaling 35 MW in capacity.

Solar Fabrik will partner with solar installer ASH Solar GmbH & Co KG to develop a 26.7-MW ground-mounted solar system in Bad Orb, located in central Germany. Additionally, the collaboration includes an 8.3-MW project near Cologne in Bruehl.

These upcoming solar parks aim to boost renewable energy production across two key German regions, supporting the country’s efforts to meet its national climate goals.

Founded in 2016 when Christian Laibacher acquired and revitalized the Solar Fabrik brand and production line, the company remains family-owned. While its current manufacturing operates in China, Solar Fabrik is actively constructing a new solar module factory in the Aschaffenburg area of central Germany.
