“That’s exactly what I want!”
Denver discovers the perfect solution for his pet cremation services sitting in our workshop
Denver Robb, together with his wife Lynsey, runs the hugely successful Glenvine Pet Crematorium at Ronaldstown, Co Antrim in Northern Ireland. Like every successful business however, Denver is constantly looking to improve the facilities of the site together with the pet cremation services that he offers and as part of his expansion plans he decided that he really required a larger and more flexible pet cremation plant to work alongside the two that he already operates. So after making numerous enquiries with colleagues operating similar pet cremation services the overwhelming advice he received was to contact Matthews Environmental Solutions.
In the first instance and after a number of telephone conversations regarding the requirements of his expanding pet cremation services business, we presented a proposal that would meet those needs.
Denver was most happy with our proposition and so he arranged to come over to our headquarters in Hyde on the outskirts of Manchester to finalise the specifications. It was while he was walking round our workshop that he saw a partially built pet cremation plant and in what was a Eureka moment he exclaimed: “That’s exactly what I want!”
The pet cremation plant he saw, and which he immediately recognised as being perfect for his own pet cremation services business, was a hot hearth bulk load chamber with an additional four individual cremation chambers set into an adjacent module. Two of these chambers faced forward and two were at the rear.
Of course the pet cremation system that so inspired him had been designed for a different pet cremation services customer, so Business Development Manager, Elliott Jones, flew over to Northern Ireland to check its suitability for the buildings at Glenvine. Elliott’s assessment was that in its current format the new pet cremator would not fit easily into the existing location and allow ease of operation.
That wasn’t a major problem though, because we were able to quickly modify the design to suit the Glenvine location by slightly adjusting the chamber positions and remotely mounting the control panel within the building, which also allowed for more practical and efficient operation.
Denver and Lynsey were delighted with our flexible and innovative approach to their pet cremation services needs and as the new pet cremator now nears completion it will very shortly be on its way to its destination in Northern Ireland.
