The Swedes opened a biofuel boiler plant built by Lithuanian company Axis Technologies
The city of Savsjo in Sweden has opened an 8 MW biofuel boiler plant built by Lithuanian company Axis Technologies. The Lithuanians completed the turnkey project as part of a contract with the Savsjo Energi energy company: they designed the boiler plant, manufactured the primary equipment, assembled it, ran it and adjusted it. The project is worth 3.5 million euros.
“This is our largest biofuel energy project in Sweden so far. The Scandinavian countries are our company's target market and our operations here are successful. Our latest step was our first bio-energy product supply agreement in Norway, which we signed several months ago,” said Axis Technologies CEO Giedrius Vaitkevičius.
The Lithuanians began building the boiler plant for Savsjo Energi in the beginning of 2016 after beating nine other competitors from Scandinavian states participating in the tender.
This is the third bio-energy project that Axis Technologies has implemented in Sweden within the last two years. Last year, the company provided a biofuel furnace, boiler and electrostatic precipitator for a boiler plant owned by Hilmer Andersson, a Swedish wood processing company. In 2016, the Lithuanians completed a project for the city of Gislaved, installing a flue gas condensing economizer at a 5 MW biofuel boiler plant.
In March of this year, Axis Technologies signed an agreement with Eidsiva Bioenergi AS, a Norwegian company that provides centralized heating in Lillehammer. The Lithuanian company will provide and install a flue gas condensing economizer at the Lillehammer water heat boiler plant.
Axis Technologies, which meets Scandinavian engineering quality standards, became a biofuel energy expert 11 years ago when it began working with Swedish company Saxlund Bioenergy. The Lithuanians later acquired this company's boiler furnace license. The furnaces created with this license by Axis Technologies are successfully operating at 9 objects in Lithuania and abroad.
Axis Technologies is part of the Axis Industries group of companies. It creates and implements biofuel energy, boiler plant and electrical projects, automation projects, construction projects and modernization projects in the Baltic states and other countries. The company provides comprehensive services: it performs consultations and technical inspections of objects, designs, creates, installs, runs and adjusts boiler plant equipment, and provides equipment automation services.
The AXIOMA brand, created in 2014, unites Axis Industries' companies and their products and services – XILO, ENCO, QALCO and SOLVO – in one family.
