Trackers with Photowatt modules at COP22!
Photowatt presents its PW2450F Crystal Advanced photovoltaic module integrated into the HeliosLite tracker
A first demonstrator is installed on the Green Energy Park site of IRESEN in Ben Guerir and a second is operational on the Club Med site in Marrakech, during the COP22 Conference of the Parties in Marrakech from November 7 to 18, 2016.
Photowatt, producer of photovoltaic panels for 35 years and HeliosLite, designer of innovative trackers, are exhibiting the fruit of their collaboration at COP 22.
It is the association of the HLPV1.5 tracker with the PW2450F Crystal Advanced® photovoltaic modules.
- The technology patented by Photowatt, Crystal Advanced®, optimizes the industrial silicon crystallization process and thus obtains a high-efficiency photovoltaic module, very reliable over time and with a very low carbon footprint.
- The unique HeliosLite HLPV1.5 single-axis tracker provides equipped modules with the same performance as a module integrated into a 2-axis tracker, at a lower cost.
The Photowatt photovoltaic module integrated into the HéliosLite tracker increases its electricity production by up to 30%. The solar demonstrator as a whole thus reduces the carbon footprint and the cost of energy. Thanks to its modularity, it brings a new solution to villages in regions poorly served by electricity networks.
