As an active crew member on the same championship-winning asphalt race team for twenty-plus years, it became crystal clear to me that the demands being placed upon the cranking and charging systems of today's race cars were not being adequately addressed. It just seemed like too many cars were having starting issues. Like many companies actively involved in today's racing industry, Total Power was created in a one car garage 19 years ago in Southern California.

Since SoCal was no longer the hotbed of racing, for years, I took countless flights to destinations all across the USA to build numerous relationships and generate new business with fellow racers near and far. We strive to build a one-on-one personal relationship will all of our customers.

Our goal is to be your "One Stop Shop" for all of your cranking and charging system needs. We offer handmade batteries, starters, custom cable kits, master switches and alternators. Our products are used exclusively in the Off Road, Drag Race, Circle Track Dirt and Asphalt markets.

In the summer of 2019, Total Power relocated its entire operation to Indianapolis to better service our ever-expanding customer base.
