World Solar Challenge
We developed our first product, the Gold Controller motor inverter for solar vehicles. The Gold Controller is still used by most of the world’s solar racing cars today.

Introducing Tritium
Building on early success in developing technology for e-mobility in the solar racing industry, Tritium was founded.

2012

To the ocean floor
Tritium provided the battery management system for the Deepsea Challenger that James Cameron took to the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

2013

Introducing the RT50
The world’s smallest footprint DC fast charger for electric vehicles. This charger was also the first in the world to have an IP65 rating, and the first in the world to have fully customizable branding.

2017

Tritium goes global
We opened our doors to the world and established our first international office in Torrance, California.

2018

Tritium goes to Europe
Tritium expands into Europe with the opening of our Amsterdam office to support existing customers and grow in one of the most advanced EV markets in the world.

2019

Ionity partnership
A joint venture between Daimler, Ford, BMW Group, and the Volkswagen Group with Porsche AG unveiled its next generation charger, which Tritium engineered, industrialized, and manufactured.

2020

First to Plug and Charge
Tritium became the first company in the world to implement Plug and Charge (ISO 15118) which enables EVs and charging equipment to communicate, authenticate, and transact seamlessly via the charging cable.

2021

150kW DC fast charger launched
Introducing the PKM150. Our unique approach to a modular and scalable direct current (DC) fast charging system designed for more cost-effective operations and infrastructure deployment.

2022

Tritium began trading on Nasdaq
Tritium company management rang the closing bell at Nasdaq MarketSite in New York’s Times Square, in celebration of our listing on the exchange.
