Elpower - Model Cleanisland -500 kW Energy Storage System
With a power range between 30kW and 500kW Cleanisland is the best solution for applications with different energy sources and different storage capability. The conversion system is based on a DSP control, specifically designed for off grid applications and it has two working modes:
Grid following – in this working mode the converter is used as an inverter for grid connection, connected to a storage system on a side and to a local grid on the other; it has the capability to charge the storage batteries and/or to support the local grid in feeding the loads.
Grid forming – in this working mode the converter becomes the master generator that feeds the loads by taking energy from the storage system (batteries) and/or from a system producing energy from renewable sources.
