HVI - Model ALT-130/60 and ALT-130/60F -AC High Voltage Aerial Lift Dielectric Test Set
The ALT Series, including models ALT-130/60 and ALT-130/60F, are field portable AC hipot test sets developed to evaluate the dielectric strength of aerial lifts, booms, bucket trucks, and liners in accordance with ANSI 92.2 standards. These units feature a continuously adjustable AC voltage, a versatile voltmeter with two ranges, a multi-range current meter, and an integrated timer. The test sets are adept at performing pass/fail over-voltage withstand tests on capacitive loads such as switchgear and substation apparatus. Utilizing a gapped core transformer, they deliver up to 7.2 kVA of output power, with a 3.6 kVA draw, allowing operation from either 30A, 120Vac or 15A, 230Vac inputs. For applications requiring different power levels, the PFT Series and ABT Series accommodate lower power needs, while the FPA, HPA, and PAR lines serve higher power demands.
The ALT-130/60 and ALT-130/60F from our ALT Series of field portable AC hipot test sets are primarily designed for testing the dielectric strength of aerial lifts, booms, bucket trucks and liners per the ANSI 92.2 standard. With a continuously adjustable AC voltage, 2 range voltmeter, multi range current meter and built in timer, the ALT Series are also a great choice for a pass/fail, AC over-voltage withstand testing on larger capacitive loads such as switchgear, buss duct or other substation apparatus. A gapped core transformer for up to 7.2 kVA of output power with the draw of 3.6 kVA so the hipot can be powered by a 30A, 120Vac or 15A, 230Vac input.
