Istek - Model VS IP Series - Accumulation (Buffer) Boilers
Istek, large-volume, large Accumulation Buffer Tanks have been developed for systems with different zoning that require high energy storage. Various versions offer different system solutions with multiple exchanger configurations ranging from 800 to 5000 liters.
VS IP Series Buffer Tanks are made of ST37-2 mild steel, which provides excellent mechanical properties, and exterior paint is applied to protect against corrosion. The exchangers used in the Buffer Tank are made of 316L stainless steel.
Accumulation (Buffer) Tanks, as their working principle, were developed to instantly heat and make available DHW (domestic hot water), also known as transition water, in a bivalent form, as well as to provide heating water to different zones. The outer surface of the tank is in the form of a black, high quality, synthetic industrial type soft leather cover over soft insulation.
