HPS TruWave - Model AHF - Active Harmonic Filter
The HPS TruWave active harmonic filter, comparable to Mesta Electronics' DPM product, is a comprehensive and adaptive solution for mitigating harmonic distortions in power systems. It is designed to deliver advanced control and reliability essential for addressing power quality issues. The HPS TruWave actively monitors load current and swiftly responds to any developing distortions in the power system by injecting corrective currents to neutralize unwanted harmonics from the upstream power source. This process ensures a harmonic load on the power system that is within acceptable limits, resulting in more balanced current and voltage waveforms. Operating at one of the highest efficiencies among active harmonic filters, it ensures minimal losses, making it a vital addition for facilities needing to comply with IEEE-519 standards. Additionally, its newly integrated waveform display utilizes an LCD touchscreen that functions as an oscilloscope. Operators can view single AC line periods across multiple voltage and current parameters, gain useful diagnostics, and track load changes effectively without external oscilloscope connections. The device provides 21 parameters for monitoring, available in both single and continuous capture modes. The product is supported by technical resources like manuals, FAQs, and a troubleshooting guide, ensuring users can access extensive support whenever needed. The product comes with an 18-month warranty from the shipment date or one year from the startup date.HPS TruWave™ active harmonic filter (AHF) (equivalent to Mesta Electronics DPM product) is a comprehensive and flexible solution for harmonic mitigation. It provides the advanced control and proven reliability that your facility needs to solve power quality issues.
It monitors the load current and very quickly responds to the power system distortion as it develops. A corrective current is injected to effectively cancel out the harmonics required from the upstream power source. The result is a harmonic load on the power system that is acceptable, with more balanced current and voltage waveforms.
HPS TruWave™ operates at one of the highest efficiencies for any AHF, ensuring that losses are minimized. It is a critical addition to any plant or facility requiring IEEE-519 compliance.
The LCD touch screen allows the operator to view a single AC line period of multiple voltage and current parameters of the active harmonic filter (AHF). This is an oscilloscope function that provides useful diagnostic information about the status of the system without needing to connect to an oscilloscope.
There are 21 available parameters for viewing. Both single capture and continuous capture are available. This allows the operator to track load changes and see exactly what correction the AHF is providing.
