Aecl - Model ABU -BTU Energy Meter
Designed-meet OIML R75 Class C and EN 1434, Aecl BTU Meter & Calculator is a standalone heat meter and controller which provides accurate and reliable thermal energy measurement in heating and cooling system. The BTU meter is compatible with two flow sensor signals input, which are pulse and open collector, meanwhile, it is also equipped with three optional signal outputs, relay, pulse and digital RS485 Modbus RTU signal. Besides, the instantaneous and accumulated flow, temperature, and energy consumption could be directly checked and calibrated in the bright LCD display. With the combination of temperature sensors and flow sensors, the BTU calculating system provides a convenient network interface simplifying utility metering in the tenant spaces. BTU meter housing
The standard industrial housing of the BTU meter is fit and perfect to install in the standard control panel, in the meantime, makes the installation and future maintenance easier. The users can check the real time parameters include the flow rate and temperature variation directly in the bright LCD display. The intuitive interface of the display makes viewing data easy and simplify on-site re-programming.
BTU calculating solution
With designed meet OIML R75 Class C and EN 1434, the Aecl BTU meter collects the instantaneous flow rate parameter and the temperature parameters in the supply and return pipes from the temperature and flow sensor to calculate the energy consumption and send the data to the BMS system or backend HMI through RS485 Modbus RTU, relay or pulse outputs. In addition to the stand-alone BTU meter, Aecl also supply the PT sensors as well as the suitable flow meter based on the application environment. In this way, we hope to provide customer a more cost and effective options for BTU calculation.
