VibroSystM - Model VSM-AGMS - Air Gap Sensor for Hydroelectric Generators
Having demonstrated its effectiveness and benefits for several years, our AGMS air gap monitoring system is now offered in the form of an efficient and cost-saving package. The standard AGMS package groups the essentials needed for successful installation and commissioning, from components and installation material down to a complete documentation set including drawings.
The AGMS package includes a standard monitoring cabinet, complete with instrumentation, ZOOM software, up to 16 air gap measuring chains, all the required protection boxes to house the signal conditioners associated to the air gap measuring chains, one synchronization sensor, and most cabling and supplies* for installation.
The standard AGMS package can be easily upgraded to monitor additional parameters of your choice. The design of our monitoring cabinets allows for the installation of additional acquisition units for additional measuring chains. Additional acquisition units can be added either prior to delivery or later in the field, even after commissioning.
The AGMS solution provides basic monitoring for your generator. Use this cabinet inside a dedicated ZOOM network to store the data, conduct further analysis, and establish trends for predictive maintenance. A communication gateway is provided for transmission of data to and from your existing SCADA. See our ZOOM Software documentation to learn about all the possibilities.
Our experts work with your personnel to oversee the complete installation. Essential training is provided during commissioning, and additional assistance is available with our optional service contract, maintenance plan or ZOOMWatch program.
