The Autarkize biomass conversion system is engineered to maximize efficiency by utilizing a variety of biomasses with a dry mass of approximately 80% and a grain size under 45 mm. It operates in two reactor stages: in the first stage, the biomass is heated and high-quality pyrolysis gas is purified. In the second stage, biomass undergoes carbonization in the absence of air at 400-700°C, yielding high-purity biochar. The energy-rich gas produced is further purified in the first reactor and partly redirected to heat the process, making it highly self-sustaining. These systems provide a thermal output between 200-1200 kW, suitable for generating electricity, steam, and heat. With advanced gas purification technology and energy density comparable to biogas, our solutions are capable of handling both base and peak load requirements.
