Eaton - Automatic Transfer Switch with Bypass Isolation
Eaton’s Bypass Isolation Contactor Type Automatic Transfer Switches include dual automatic switching mechanisms that provide redundancy for critical applications. The ATS distributes electrical power to the load, while the automatic bypass serves as a backup. When the ATS is isolated for test, power is routed through the automatic bypass switch to ensure that critical loads remain powered without interruption. Compartmentalized steel barrier construction physically isolates the automatic bypass switch, ATS, and electrical control circuitry for increased safety when performing maintenance activities.
