Simultaneously the only private Hydraulics Laboratory for Reduced Model Trials of hydromechanical equipment was implemented in the Sorocaba industrial plant, providing Bardella with a differential that still exists. In 1994 there was an important addition to this laboratory with the Creation of a Research and Development Department - R&D, which conducts hydraulic and structural studies using numerical and experimental techniques, promoting the development of modern technologies in the fields of research, dimensioning, design and improvement of the products and services to be provided.
Throughout its history, Bardella has established a relationship of trust regarding the quality of its equipment. Bardella is internationally recognized for its active participation in one of the largest operating plants in the world: the Itaipú Hydroelectric Plan, in addition to other large plants such as Corumbá, Itá Lajeado, Machadinho, Marimbondo, Paulo Afonso, Peixe Angical, Rosana, Serra da Mesa, Taquaruçu, Tucurui, and Xingó, as well as locks for Promissão, Jupiá and Três Irmãos.
Bardella relies on an unmatched reservoir of experience for the line of products built for the Navigation Locks, Dams and Hydroelectric Plants Sector. Bardella equipment is installed and in full operation at various works throughout Brazil and the world.
Regarding the supply currently in execution at Bardella S.A., strong emphasis should be given to the equipment already in an advanced manufacturing stage for the two Tucuruí locks located in the State of Pará.
