Barden - Wood Fuel
Wood fuel falls into three main categories; logs, wood pellets made from compacted sawdust for use in specific boilers, and wood chip. Wood chip is created in several sizes and it’s calorific value is determined by it’s particle size, origin and moisture content.
Our wood chip is a carbon neutral biomass fuel sourced from local woodland. We then process the wood to produce high quality wood chip with a constant moisture content, perfect for biomass heating systems.
Our state of the art drying plant enables us to produce wood chip of a consistent quality and moisture content, essential for keeping biomass heating systems running as efficiently as possible. Our investment in technology has allowed us to increase our production capacity to 18.500 (what? Tons? cubic meters?) pa.
Our fuel contracts allow our customers to fix the price of their fuel for an agreed period, allowing them to properly budget their heating costs without having to worry about fluctuations in prices or raw materials.
Our own fleet of trucks are able to blow fuel directly into your fuel store, making for a clean and efficient delivery.
The UK has an abundance of domestically produced wood product, calculating for all projected small and medium biomass installations there is still a large surplus capacity which will keep supply and prices stable indefinitely.
