Real Goods Acquisition

altE acquired the Real Goods solar business in September 2019. The sales and customer support personnel from Real Goods have joined the altE team. Real Goods – now powered by altE - will continue to promote, sell, inventory, ship, and support solar energy solutions out of its California location. New to the acquisition, Real Goods will also begin offering competitive programs for professional solar installers on the West coast, with expanded inventory and distributor pricing. Founded in 1978, Real Goods is the original purveyor of off-grid living supplies. The altE Team

Our technical sales folks are some of the best trained in our neck of the industry. Nearly all of our sales staff has taken the NABCEP PV Entry Level Exam, and every one that has, has passed.

Throughout the year our sales folks not only stay sharp by attending technical and national code trainings but also participate in installations. Occasionally, you`ll even find our guys running experiments on renewable energy gear in the mysterious altE `Labs`.
