LMP - Battery Technology
FORWARD INNOVATION, TESTED AND MARKETED. Blue Solutions` LMP® technology design is unique: a completely solid cell, no liquid or gel constituents, made with two reversible electrodes (one lithium metal) physically separated by a solid polymer. Tomorrow, solid-state battery will be privileged for their long lifespan, high stability, security, lower cost and potential for high energy density. Thanks to LMP® technology, future starts today.
HIGH ENERGY DENSITY
Its innovative technology means that Lithium metal can achieve energy density 10 times the density of graphite cells.
HIGHLY RECYCLABLE
Due to the use of lithium in metallic form and the lack of nickel, cobalt and other toxic components.
LMP® BATTERIES ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY
The chemical components of LMP" batteries are less dangerous for people and the environment than those found in the majority of other batteries.
HEIGHTENED SECURITY
Its solid electrolyte means it can stand extreme external temperatures.
SIMPLIFIED PRODUCTION PROCESS
Due to a unique fabrication process of ultrafine films/a unique Roll-to-Roll production technique and the lack of liquid solvents.
RECYCLING
Blue Solutions undertakes to create a sustainable value chain where over 80% of its metallic raw materials are re-used or recycled.
LMP® batteries are produced in two state-of-the-art factories, located in France and Canada, whose annual production capacity reaches 1.5 CWh and will grow considerably in the years to come.
Thanks to extrusion and coating techniques, the constantly evolving industrial process guarantees the high quality of the cells as well as the efficiency and performance of the entire production chain.
Thanks to a unique roll-to-roll production process and the absence of liquid solvents.
